I'm an elementary school teacher and spent most of my career as a homeroom teacher in first and second grade. I've also worked as a reading teacher instructing in small groups for grades K-3.
For the gingerbread house: A piece of copy paper cut into an 8 1/2" by 8 1/2" square ( copy paper is 8 1/2" x 11") or a 9" x 9" piece of solid colored origami paper. OR students can use a brown paper bag cut into a 9" square. Crayons, markers, or colored pencils to decorate the gingerbread house. A tan or a light brown color if students want to color their gingerbread house tan or light brown, and then any other colors to decorate. If students used a brown paper bag, they do not need to color their house tan or light brown.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
