Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the vocabulary word-dissolve Students will learn about what happens when skittles are mixed with hot and cold water.
2 white plates (can be paper plates or real plates) hot water (parent help is needed with this) cold water red and green skittles (enough to do the experiment twice) Christmas shaped cookie cutter (if students don't have one, that is okay. They can still do the experiment). Provided worksheets Red and green markers or crayons (to draw what they observe)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
