Let's have some winter and Christmas fun!  Feel free to dress in holiday colors!

Show and Tell:
Bring a winter item to share (optional)

Book:
We will read the book “If you take a Mouse to the Movies” by Laura Numeroff.  Children will engage with the mouse’s fun adventures, make predictions and have the option to say what they do in winter and at Christmas! 

Jingle Bells:
We will sing Jingle Bells together!  Bring bells or anything to shake while we sing!

Winter Movement:
Students will move to winter movement cards (ex: Twirl like a snowflake)

Snowman Poem:
Learners will help with counting our silly snowmen through a fun poem.

Snowman Craft:
We will be creative and practice fine motor skills making our own snowman! We will end class with any learner who wants to show their snowman and sing our goodbye song! 

 Supplies for Snowman Craft:  
o	Blue Construction paper with 3 drawn on circles for snowman
o	Cotton Balls
o	Three small construction paper circles for buttons, orange triangle for nose and square/rectangle for hat (precut)
o	Glue
o	Snowflake Stickers (or white crayon or chalk) 
o	Googly Eyes (or construction paper eyes)
