Many students this age believe in Santa, we will not be directly discussing Santa but he is likely to come up. If your child does not believe in Santa that is fine but I do ask that you talk to them before class about how every family has different beliefs and we have to be respectful. If the conversation does arise I will handle it by saying that all families have different beliefs and do things differently and leading the class in a change of subject. If time permits we will play freeze dance, students will need room to move around but I will encourage them to make use of whatever space they do have. Dancing while sitting is perfectly fine.
