Head down to the farm for Christmas story time! We will enjoy an interactive reading of the classic book, "Mrs. Wishy Washy's Christmas." (by Joy Cowley) The iconic Mrs. Wishy Washy enjoys Christmas with her animals. Learners will enjoy Christmas songs, making animal noises, and playing a matching game all based on a seasonal farm theme. Songs will include a variation of "Jingle Bells" and "The Lights on the Tree." We will review shapes, including stars, circles, triangles, and squares. My teaching style is fun and engaging. I believe all students can learn and I strive to engage all learners in the classroom activities.
Learning Goals
Students will enjoy a story. Activities will involve a matching game and a review of shapes.
