Music and movement activities are the building blocks of any preschool & toddler education. Not only do young children love songs and movement (dance), but it also plays an important role in their healthy early childhood development.
Class experience
Young children’s attention spans are short, and their bodies need to move. I provide music and movement activities because research shows that exposure to music and movement can improve children’s learning. We will quickly do a few stretches to warm our muscles up. The child will need to wear comfortable clothing, have an open space with room to wiggle, and a water bottle close by. *Christmas songs in this class will remain secular in focus.*
