*NOTE: This is a self-paced class with pre-recorded videos. No live meetings are held. Learners are encouraged to take the class at their own pace! In this class, we will focus on 4 different Christmas topics: Holiday lights, Christmas trees, reindeer, and Santa!! The main activities will be creating a craft related to these topics, however, I will also read aloud a related book and include a challenge activity the next day. This class only has content posted on 8 days but there are extra days at the end of each week to provide you with time to space out the crafts and do them at your own pace over two weeks! See the daily breakdown below. Craft instruction videos are posted one day and the book and challenge are posted the next. Crafts will typically take 25-45 minutes to complete. Learners will be guided step-by-step on how to create each craft through the pre-recorded videos. These projects are age-appropriate, but learners may need assistance with some steps. There are specific materials your learner will need for this class. See the supply list section below for a list of items. See you soon! -Ms. Jill

My whole life I have loved arts and crafts. Being a mom, I know what materials and topics are fun and engaging to use for crafts. Having taught in a special education classroom for 3 years, I have the experience of breaking down projects to be accessible to all students. If you have a child that might need extra assistance with the crafts - please let me know and I would love to provide extra ideas to help make the crafts more accessible.
