You know that line in "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" in which it mentions that "there’ll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago?" Ever wonder what that's all about? Well, it used to be a thing! The telling of ghost stories at Christmastime was once a beloved Victorian Christmas tradition that has since fallen out of vogue. In this class, we're bringing it back! We'll spend an hour listening to classic Christmas ghost stories and imagining what life used to be like when kids fell asleep to these as winter bedtime stories instead of playing Animal Crossing on the Switch and hearing (or avoiding) Mariah Carey belt out her contemporary holiday song on repeat before heading off to slumber.
