Students work together in this fun one-time class to escape from the North Pole. Students will use their knowledge of Christmas lore and traditions from around the world and critical thinking skills to make choices, solve puzzles and challenges, and hopefully Escape the North Pole and get back home! This class is perfect for students who love logic puzzles and thinking challenges. The holiday theme is sure to make it a fun, festive experience for students. Some of the skills we will work on through the Escape Room challenge include: Critical thinking & logic Problem-solving Teamwork & leadership Some of the things students will learn about include: Holiday traditions around the world Christmas carols Classic Christmas movies Traditions and History of Christmas Animals of the North Pole This class is sure to be a fun way to practice valuable logic skills and learn more about Christmas traditions worldwide, and celebrate in a safe and enjoyable environment! Watch your student's imaginations take flight after this class.... that is IF they get out of the North Pole!

Teacher expertise and credentials
By profession, I am an Ecology Instructor at a local College Environmental Education Center. I have 15 years of experience teaching Math, Science, and History, and multi-disciplinary classes at the elementary, middle, and high school level. I am also a homeschool mom of 3 and co-op director. I love teaching through hands-on activities including experiments, games, and real-world adventures. Science and math classes are my current specialties, but I also love to teach adulting skills, and fun game-based or craft-based multidisciplinary classes.
I am a Google Certified Educator and a certified Vex Robotics Instructor and I have been designing escape rooms for decades!
