Christmas Drawing: Dog and Cat Fireside Nap
In this 30-minute class, students will be guided to draw a puppy and kitten wearing Santa hats. The pets are sleeping by their Christmas stockings, hung on the fireplace. This class will include step-by-step instructions by the teacher.

In this 30-minute class, students will be guided to draw a puppy and kitten wearing Santa hats. The pets are sleeping by their Christmas stockings, hung on the fireplace. Students will be able to follow along with my step-by-step, live instructions. I have two screens visible so that students can see me drawing, as well as speaking. I break each step down, so artists of all levels are welcome! Students can replicate my drawing or add their own unique elements, with some ideas discussed in class. After completing our drawing, students will begin coloring in their drawing, with the medium of their choice, such as crayons, markers, or colored pencils. I will be using colored pencils, so I can demonstrate shading. Students may need to complete their coloring after class. Throughout the class, students will have the opportunity to share their creations with the class, but it will not be required. Interaction will be encouraged as we color in the drawing!
