US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Kicking off the Christmas season, in this one time class I will read the book Dasher by Matt Tavares. We will discuss bravery and they will have the opportunity to share a time in their life where they felt brave. After the story we will complete a simple Dasher drawing and they will color their masterpiece! A secondary pre-printed craft option will be provided for students who wish to focus on coloring. Students will have the opportunity to share their drawings/coloring sheet with the class...
Students will learn about bravery and the magical spirit of Christmas. They will work on their drawing and coloring skills and feel a sense of accomplishment after completing their art project. They will hone their listening skills and practice direction taking skills.
Paper and pencils, markers or crayons. A PDF printout for student who choose not to do the art project.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
