Christmas Craft: Christmas Tree Made Out of Paper Plate!
In this step by step class, we will be getting in the holiday spirit making a Christmas tree out of cut pieces of a paper plate. We will cut and paint our pieces, cut out a tree trunk and a star, and decorate with "ornaments."

Description
Class Experience
-Paper plate -Green paint -Paint brush (thicker brush is preferred) -Brown construction paper -Yellow construction paper -Different color construction paper for ornaments (learners can choose whatever colors they'd like) -Glue bottle -Paper or mat to place under our project while painting to keep surface clean -Optional: extra materials for ornaments
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Although we are making a Christmas tree that does have to do with the holiday season, our discussion and teachings will remain secular. If your child may need assistance with scissors or glue, parental supervision may be needed.
