Class Experience

Does your student get tired of waiting for Christmas? Then, let them join me for a fun read aloud about Little Llama who also hates waiting for the big day to arrive. Throughout the class, we will teach Little Llama some creative activities that he can do to keep busy while having fun. First, we will sing a fun Christmas song and dance. Then we will read the adorable book "Llama Llama Holiday Drama" by Anna Dewdney and compare how we get ready for the holidays. Afterwards, we will help Little Llama choose some gifts for his friends with a rhyming chant and identify the beginning letter sounds of each present to help us determine what lesson Little Llama learns by the end of the story. Finally, we will make an easy but tasty Christmas tree treat with sugar cones, green icing, and mini M & Ms. This is all that is required, but if students want to get fancy, they can add other small candies and pull-apart Twizzlers for garland. What fun! We will end class with a Christmas countdown from 25, and students will be given a Christmas Tree Countdown poster to cover one day at a time beginning December 1 till the 25th to see how many more days are left till Christmas. So don't wait...enroll your child in this Christmas Countdown class today!
