Make your own countdown/advent calendar for Christmas! We will make festive paper chain advent calendars out of construction paper. Perfect for displaying on the tree, over a doorway, bundled as a table centerpiece, or even hung on a wall or mantle. Each loop has a number corresponding to each day of the December leading up to Christmas. Each day, tear off the loop with the appropriate number in it; as the chain gets shorter, Christmas gets closer! Materials: - 4 sheets of construction paper in colors of choice (the class photo shows 1 red, 1 green, and 2 yellow) - scissors - crayons or markers - scotch tape
