Class Experience

Students will bring Christmas coloring pages of their choice and enjoy a fun guided discussion. The discussion will be student lead and guided by discussion questions.

Discussion questions may vary based on what students show interest in but may include:
How do you decorate for Christmas?
What is your favorite thing about Christmas?
Do you have a favorite Christmas treat to eat?
What is the best Christmas gift you ever got?
What is the best Christmas gift you ever gave?
What is your favorite Christmas movie?
What does your family do on Christmas?
Do you have a favorite Christmas book?

This is an inclusive class, this means that students of all abilities are welcome. If your student needs any accommodations please let me know and we will work together to ensure the best possible experience.

My name is Gabrielle, I started teaching sewing lessons when I was a homeschool senior. I taught classes at a local home school group and discovered I had a passion for teaching. When I was 19 I discovered I was most likely autistic and was able to get an official diagnosis at 21. For me, this was a revelation and explained so much. It meant I was able to seek out others like me and was a huge game-changer for me.


For over 10 years now I have been teaching in different capacities and working with children with different disabilities and differences. I have been an in-home caregiver for a physically disabled child, a preschool teacher, a teacher's aid, a tutor and have been teaching online since January 2020. I also have an Associates' degree in special education.

I am proud to be autistic. This doesn't mean I don't have struggles but I firmly believe that we all have strengths and weaknesses. I strive to give all of my students a safe and welcoming place. All of my classes are inclusive which means students of all abilities are welcome. If your student needs any accommodations please let me know and we will work together to ensure the best possible class experience.
