Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
Birds adorn ornaments and cards, and make up many of the gifts received in the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas". In this class, we look more at the birds associated with the Holiday Season. Students will learn fun facts and life histories about different birds associated with Christmas pop culture. This class does not cover topics on Christmas in relation to religon.

This class is great for bird lovers, and we will look at many birds, including (but not limited to) Northern Cardinals, Penguins, Turtle Doves, Partridges, Chickens, Swans, Geese, Woodpeckers, and Cranes. Slides are lecture-based with pictures, audio, or videos of the birds. Students are encouraged but not required to participate in discussions.
