Description
Class Experience
In this course, we will be learning American Sign Language signs related to the secular parts of Christmas. We will learn 20 words such as Christmas, tree, Santa, candy cane, and reindeer. I will do a combination of PPT and demonstration with the students repeating each sign. We will learn all of the signs first, reviewing throughout class. We will then do games as time allows to help the students remember the signs. I love to build a rapport with students. I have fun as we both focus on...
I took two years of American Sign Language in high school as well as a semester in college. I have taught multiple one-time themed ASL classes on Outschool.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
