Each class will start with either introductions or a review of what was covered in previous days. Students will create artwork inspired by Christmas trees, snowmen, snow globes, and Christmas Eve night. Not only will we make art about Christmas, but we will also introduced to weaving, drawing, painting, 3D techniques, and other important art concepts.. Each lesson will be taught in a directed drawing style to aid those who are not confident in their skills yet. However, the students will be encouraged to make their art unique and personal to them. Day 1: Snow Globes, drawing Day 2: Christmas Notans, paper Day 3: Christmas Eve Night, mixed media Day 4: Christmas Tree Day 1, painting Day 5: Christmas Tree Day 2, weaving

Day 1: white paper, pencil, eraser, something to color with (crayons, markers, or colored pencils), black permanent marker, scissors, glue Day 2: White paper, black paper, scissors or exacto knife, glue Day 3: White 8.5x11 inch paper, inch 8.5x11 black paper, sheet protector, black permanents marker, scissors, glue, colored sharpies (optional) Day 4: White paper, pencil, black permanent marker, paint (acrylic or tempera), paint brush Day 5: Day 4 project, scissors, glue, ruler
