Description
Class Experience
I have a Master's degree in education and have been teaching for more than 15 years in public, private, and online settings. I am certified K-6 in all subjects, and K-8 in mathematics and social studies, but have spent time teaching all ages. Many of my years of experience were spent teaching math. I am known for my enthusiastic, funny, and high-energy teaching style, and I accommodate all learners. I am good at putting students at ease and making them feel comfortable in my classes. I laugh easily and I truly love teaching!
Students will need something to use to solve problems- paper and pencil or a whiteboard and marker, for example.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some of the stories may take a comical turn for the worst, resulting in our character perishing, just like in traditional "Choose Your Own" books. It is always very vague - think "And the last thing you ever see is the llama hoof heading straight at you!" But this may be slightly scary for sensitive learners.
