In this one-time course, students will listen to the Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. Come sip on hot cocoa and munch on some cookies while we go on an adventure to meet Santa! We will have a Polar Express coloring sheet and craft!
Class experience
All aboard! Come board the Polar Express train and have some fun with us as we go on an adventure to meet Santa! We will read The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. Be sure to bring some cookies and sip on hot cocoa while you listen! I will provide all learners with a Polar Express coloring sheet to use during the read-a-loud. We will create our own Polar Express train after the story. A golden ticket will be provided for each learner! You may also come in your jammies to make this...
We will create our own Polar Express train out of graham crackers. If you do not have graham crackers, you can use any rectangular cracker. You may also simply use construction paper if you wish! You will also need anything else that your learner would like to use to decorate their train with.
