Teacher expertise and credentials
Associate's Degree from SENAC Sao Paulo - Brazil
Culinary is my passion. I love cooking and teaching it. It is an amazing pleasure for me to see people learning how to cook or making foods they enjoy eating. Cooking is a kind of language where people can understand each other without speaking the same language. Cooking is unifying. Because of that, I believe everybody can learn how to cook and enjoy it. I have a solid experience in Brazilian culinary because I was born and raised in Brazil, so I have that culture naturally inside myself. I also graduated in culinary and had a culinary business there. The associate degree that I took here in the U.S. opened up a whole new world for me on so many levels that improved, even more, my culinary skills and knowledge.
My love for teaching began when I started teaching children (5-12) as a volunteer in a local non-profit organization from 2007 to 2011. We read stories and I was the instructor responsible for the children's choir. Since then, I have been involved in private tutoring for children and teenagers. After I graduated in culinary arts, I focused on teaching culinary for people of all ages. I taught individual and group classes of all types - from gingerbread castles for children to whole diner meals for adults. I am very grateful for your consideration of taking one of my classes, and I know the classes will be very fun, and hands-on, and your children and I will learn a lot from each other.
See you all in class!
