Class experience
In this class, students will make bakery style chocolate chip muffins! This is a live virtual class only; I do not have in-person classes. Students will bake along with the teacher, using the hard copy of the recipe for reference, available to print upon enrollment. Students will need to use the oven during this class. Ingredients students will need: 2 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1⁄4 tsp. salt 1⁄2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature 1 cup granulated sugar 1 tbsp. vanilla extract 2 eggs 1⁄4 cup sour cream 3⁄4 cup buttermilk 1 1⁄2 cups mini chocolate chips Other supplies students will need: 12-cavity muffin tin 12 muffin liners mixing bowls, whisk and spatula hand mixer or stand mixer with paddle attachment measuring cups and spoons Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools. The recipe PDF will be posted in the classroom discussion.
