Chit Chat Club: Social Club for Learners With Special Needs (Everyone Welcome!)

In this ongoing course, learners of all abilities will engage socially.  We will have a predictable schedule each week. 

We will begin each class with either an ice breaker question or practice introducing ourselves. Then we will show off items students bring to class and chat about them. 

Students will be working to improve question asking skills, light conversation, and giving compliments. 

This class is specifically geared towards learners who have difficulty with conversational and social skills. We welcome any student who has any type of disability. We also welcome students who don’t have disabilities who would like to be role models for students who have difficulty with conversational and social skills. Some specific disabilities that learners might have (but not limited to) autism, learning disabilities, communication disorders, etc.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions to see if this will be a good fit for your learner.
