Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to create their very own Chinese Paper Lantern.  They will use listening skills, apply hand/eye coordination, and have fun creating something new.
Supplies Needed:
Types of Paper than can be used:
Construction Paper
Scrapbook Paper
Cardstock
*Each Lantern will use 3 pieces of paper. I piece of paper should be white.
*** Paper should be at least 8 1/2 x 11 and no larger than 12 x 12.  
****For color choices, this month's theme will be focused on the Chinese New Year! Thinks Red, Black, Orange, Yellow, and Tigers! 
Scissors
Ruler
Pencil
Eraser
Stapler
Markers
Glue stick
****Optional: Students will be emailed images they can print and color before making their Lantern.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
