Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Join Ms. Moony for a fun celebration of Dragon Boat Festival which will be on Jun 3rd 2022. We’ll listen to the legend about Dragon Boat festival and explore what and why we have special traditions to celebrate this festival. Following up with a discussion, as you may know, food culture play important roles in Chinese culture, so we’ll learn what the special food and drinks are on this holiday and how to cook them. Finally, we will play a game to review what we’ve learned in the class.

This class is meant to be a social experience and could be very student-centered. There is no wrong way to participate and no previous experience or knowledge needed in this class. Learners are encouraged to talk about their thoughts and ideas about this holiday, I hope not only to nurture their curiosity about different culture, food, and customs, but also support them to explore and learn more for a long term. To be fun, relaxed and enjoyable and make some good memories are also important for all of us. I look forward to meeting you and your curious children in the class.
