Become a chicken “egg-spert” while learning from a teacher with over 8 years of experience. In this one-time class, students will get a crash course on what it takes to be a responsible chicken keeper. Slides will be shown with examples of my coops and run. Students will explore why I have my coops set up the way they are and be inspired by discovering the many ways they can create a set up that best suits them and their potential future (or current) flock. Students will learn what chickens need during every stage of life and will get the opportunity to ask any questions they may have. By the end of class, students should feel confident enough to start raising chickens. Depending on student questions, this class may go over time by a few minutes.
