We will use watercolors to create a painting of a chickadee in a winter scene. We will discuss various ways to work with watercolors including - dry on dry, wet on wet, picking the correct brush, how to add details and how to blend areas. I will use a document camera to demonstrate each step. The students will then have a chance to do the steps and will have ample time before the next step is presented. They will have opportunities to ask questions and to chat while they are working. We will end class with sharing time to show each other how our projects came out.
