Chesspired: Ongoing Chess Club for Basic- Intermediate Players

Welcome! Does your child know how to play chess and want to hone in on their skills? If so, this ongoing chess-loving class is for your child. I will host weekly chess games using my team's chessboard. Your child will get to play group chess. It is not a teaching class; it is more of group play with 10 percent instruction. Only one group game is played at a time with 2-4 members on each team during this low-stress chess class. This class is not for highly competitive players. It is for kids who have fundamental to intermediate chess skills. 

Chess enhances reading and math skills as well as improves critical thinking abilities. Chess provides long-term skills for children to think and plan strategically.
