This is an opportunity for kids to meet other kids who love chess as well as test their chess playing skills. No boards or equipment needed. We will be using Chess.com. 

Before the games begin, Mr. Roger will go over tournament chess notation for players who wish to practice recording their games. He will remind players of tournament rules. Most importantly, respect for fellow players and good sportsmanship will be encouraged. 

The first round will be a timed speed chess game (ten minutes)...
