Class Experience
*It is a requirement that learners know at least the basics of Chess and how the pieces move* *Chess will be played on 'Chess.com'. It is required that learners sign up (it is free) before they attend the class. I will provide a link to the sign up page in the classroom page. Learners will then join my Chess Club on Chess.com which I will provide the link for during the meeting. This class is taught in English.
Students will learn new chess openings to strengthen their overall chess game.
I have been playing Chess for a few years now and improving at a good pace. I have a blitz rating (3/5 minute games) of 1400 (solid intermdiate player) which suggests that I have a really good basic and fundamental understanding of how to play Chess.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
