Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the full rules of the game and be ready to play a full game of chess.
I am a professional chess teacher and an instructor with the Chess Institute of Canada. I have taught students both privately and in public school settings and as such I am highly trusted. I am also a professional game designer, which gives me additional insights into chess in general. I am confident in my ability to connect with the kids, where I focus on giving each student a very positive learning experience.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The teacher will be asking students regularly about concepts to ensure learning & engagement.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
