This course is designed for students who already know the rules of the game, who knows how to play chess openings and wants to improve their midgame. Moving into the midgame, there is no set plan or strategies. The game is dynamic and every game is different depending on the opening which can make the midgame seem more complex. By the end of this course, students should be able their position to identify the different kinds of imbalances in the chess game.
There is no homework for this class, however, I highly encourage students to play games at home.
