Class Experience

Beginner Level
This course is designed for students eager to learn new attacking ideas to help them attack and corner the opponent's King. This class is perfect for students who are familiar with all the rules of the game and have limited experience with basic tactics. Attacking is one of the most exciting parts of the game and students will have a lot of fun learning and practising new checkmate techniques.

Throughout the course students will learn a new checkmate pattern each week, and will learn how to identify when each pattern is applicable based on the available target squares. The classes are highly interactive and students are always encouraged to ask questions.

Every class will consist of a discussion and introduction to the topic, lots of sample puzzles for the students to practise solving and applying their new knowledge, and a game portion where students will play against each other or myself.
