Chess Club- Have Fun by Playing and Learning Chess

In this ongoing class, students will play chess with each other using the official platform of Chess.com. In the beginning of each class, the students will learn a new tactic or strategy in order to improve their skills and implement what they learned over the board. Then, the students will go into breakout rooms of two, introduce themselves and then play a game of chess. I will be joining each room in order to give advice to the players and monitor their progress. Students will then switch and meet somebody else and play with them.

The class is for students who already know how to move the pieces. Additionally, this class is for beginner players mostly, so I would not recommend joining if your rating is above 1200. 

The most important thing for this class is to have fun by playing the magical game of chess!
