In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
If your child plays chess regularly (either online or in over the board tournaments) they will see their rating climb.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I primarily use Chess.com when sharing my screen. Chess can be vaguely militaristic and some students start with that language. I encourage students to use more precise language, for instance we capture pieces rather than kill them.
