US Grade 9 - 12
This ongoing course provides a great foundation for the grade 9-11 chemistry curriculum. We will start by introducing atom structure, elements, compounds, ions, isotopes, valence electrons, naming compounds, and types of bonds. We will then have a brief look at the types of reactions, and the law of conservation of mass. we will spend time practicing balancing and predicting the products of chemical reactions. Over 15 years of experience teaching high school biology. I hold PhD in biochemistry/cell biology and enjoy teaching my students in a fun and engaging way. Many of my past students are currently undergrads/graduates from top Canadian/US universities. Welcome to my classes!
