In this ongoing class, students will explore chemistry. Students will learn key terms and processes related to chemistry. Students will review atoms, molecules, chemical equations, chemical reactions, the states of matter, and more. Students will be taught with direct teacher-led instruction using graphics, and interactive questions and answers. Students are encouraged to participate in class and interact with their peers and instructors. Students are not required to have any prior experience or knowledge. Each week students will review an isolated chemistry topic. Students can begin and end the course at any time without any prior knowledge. Projected topics will include: 1st Week of May 4: Elements 2nd Week of May 11: Atoms 3rd Week of May 18: Molecules 4th Week of May 25: Chemical Reactions 5th Week of June 1: Chemical Equations 6th Week of June 8: The Periodic Table 7th Week of June 15: States of Matter 8th Week of June 22: Physical Science These classes may recycle back to the beginning (Week 1) after Week 8.
