Description

Class Experience

This class is presented in four sections: Matter, the Periodic Table, Reactions, and Acids/Bases. There will be both synchronous activities and asynchronous activities that students can do at home.

The external resources will be used to enhance the course. It is helpful for each student to be able to modify Google Docs and Google Sheets after given access to these online tools. For Kahoot! and Nearpod, a separate account is not needed. The YouTube videos shown during classtime will a mixture...

I am a veteran educator with about 20 years experience teaching Physical Science, including chemistry. I have taught chemistry topics at both the middle and high school levels. Currently, I work with diverse learners in a school that encompasses the many abilities students have.

Homework will be outlined at the end of each class--if there is specific homework

I will supply a list before each week begins--many times the materials are just digital. The density column activity is one that does require materials and I will post them, too.
