Chemistry 201 -Moles to Chemical Equations (2 of 7) [Flex->Self-Paced Science]
Class experience
US Grade 7 - 12
Oxygen and Magnesium together? OMg!! This class is designed to provide an introduction to a vital chemistry concept, the "mole". Many topics will be covered over this 5 week class that will give the student a basic understanding of the types of chemical reactions and how to balance them. Students will have the opportunity to practice what they learn each week. Week 1: Review of the Periodic Table and the Mole -> Video: Periodic Table Review -> Video: The Mole -> Fill in the blank note...

I have taught chemistry and chemical engineering at the college level, and have been teaching science to home school elementary, middle and high school students for 10 years. I know how to present science in a fun way to boost students interest in the subject.
Homework Offered
Each week a 1-2 page sheet of practice problems will be given for students to reinforce what they are learning in the class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
