In this on-going club learners will explore and discover the science behind some fun chemical reactions while having some exciting and sometimes messy chemistry fun!

Description

Class Experience

Learners will improve their understanding of chemical reactions.

Learners will improve their science vocabulary.

Learners will improve their understanding of  the science of chemistry.

Learners will improve their knowledge of how to conduct experiments.
Experiment specific supplies will be posted to the classroom upon enrollment and after class for the upcoming next class. Most supplies are common household items. 

Please have these materials on hand:

Vinegar
Clear cups or glasses
Sand paper
Iron nails
Milk bottles or bottle of similar shape
Water 
Food coloring
Card stock
Salt
Lemon juice
Copper coins
Universal indicator papers (these can be found on Amazon for around $4)
Dish soap
Baking soda 
Matches
Soap powder
Bowls
Spoons
Brewed tea

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Grown up supervision is required for this class due to the nature of chemistry and the chemical reactions some of these experiments produce.
