This one time class explores the history and varieties of cheeses. We will look at cheeses from around the world and explore how local ingredients and available milks sources have shaped regional flavors. We'll examine the differences between hard cheeses and soft cheeses. Have you ever wondered how cheese is made? Have you ever wondered how long ago cheese was "invented"? Join us and find out! Class Format: - Introductions - Lecture and discussion about Cheese History and Varieties of Cheeses - Fun Facts - Closing Discussion and Q & A If you want to go beyond the history of cheese and experiment with tasting and cooking cheeses.
