Description
Class Experience
Learners will learn about different cheeses. Learners will leave class with a basic understanding of different cheeses, cheese history and cheese making process.
I am a self-proclaimed foodie. One of my favorite foods is cheese. I love cheese because there are so many varieties and so many different ways to prepare it, use it in recipes, or just eat it. I am passionate about food, and especially cheese, and love sharing my passion for food with learners.
Optional: Cheese Tasting - After class learners are encouraged to try a new cheese and post to the classroom about the experience.
Learners are encouraged to try a new cheese and post to the classroom about the experience. Learners may bring cheese to class if they would like to do a Cheese Show and Tell.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal assessments based on participation.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Single Learner Classes: - Single learner classes will go ahead as scheduled unless learner and family request otherwise. - Lesson may end early. If the lesson ends early there will be an extended discussion and Q & A. Learners may be released from class up to 5 minutes early if Q & A ends early.
