In this one time class, students will learn beginning Cheerleading moves and TWO fun cheers!
Class experience
Cheerleading is fun! Not only is it fun, but it is very valuable! Cheerleading can help a young child develop a sense of body awareness as well as a wide range of coordination and motor skills. Educational skills like rhyming, memorization, and team work are also big benefits of learning how to cheer. Cheerleading enhances confidence in a positive and meaningful way. This lesson will start with "hellos and introductions." We will begin with some simple stretching. We will then move on to...
A one-page handout will be provided.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be very basic stretches done at the beginning of class. Stretching before class might also be a good idea. Students need an open space to do the cheer moves and stretch. If they have a water bottle, they can bring it to class as well!
