Youth cheerleading offers numerous health benefits to children as they develop and learn to engage in the world more fully. Young girls and boys who get involved in cheerleading develop mental, physical and emotional advantages. On this team cheerleaders will learn basic chants, cheer moves, jumps and good sportsmanship and communication skills. I teach these skills by playing games, reputation and modeling for learners. 3 years cheer coaching experience and 5 years personal cheer/ gymnastics experience.
Workout friendly clothing, water bottle, and plenty of room to move around in.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Proper supervision at home with learner is important to prevent any injuries (twisted ankle, pulled muscle, ect.)
