Calling all cheerleaders! Are you ready to learn, practice, and master all the skills you need to be an amazing cheerleader? No experience needed! Just bring your energy! Class will begin with a warm-up to get our muscles warmed up, blood flowing, and heart rate up. We will chat about some of our favorite ways to stay active, goal setting, healthy habits, and how our weeks are going! Whether we had a week full of setbacks or victories, this is a safe place to find encouragement and motivation! After all, we are cheerleaders! You can expect your child to learn new cheerleading skills, all while having fun and socializing with the squad! Each class we will work on our cheer motions, jumps, and tumbling skills (primarily bodyweight strength exercises, cartwheels, and roundoffs). Each week we will learn a new cheer or chant that can then be practiced and perfected throughout the week! Some weeks we will play cheer games as time allows. You can expect me to be doing everything right along with your child as well as encouraging and individual coaching on technique throughout our time together. I will no doubt be their biggest cheerleader! My goal is that every child leaves our classroom feeling confident and successful. Let's go Cheer Club All-stars! Please join the squad at any time! Each class will focus on cheerleading basics. Movements will be scaled so that each learner is feeling successful yet challenged. Class will be learner directed meaning that as a squad we will decide what we would most like to focus on each class. You can bet we are going to have a spirit-filled classroom each and every week!
