Students will become familiar with the demands of a college/university education and learn about various resources that they can utilize now and aid in their future post-secondary academic success. Students will also develop competencies which are applicable to secondary and post-secondary education and which can help them identify academic, financial, and professional opportunities. Finally, through open class discussions, students will also develop their ability to critically and dynamically think about how to overcome transitional challenges first-year college/university students typically experience.
