US Grade 4
Beginner Level
Do you love seeing the sights of Paris? Do you enjoy each episode of The Miraculous Ladybug and Chat Noir? Join us each week to talk about the lessons learned from Marinette and her friends. We will take a closer look at the landmarks of Paris that are highlighted in each episode. Each class begins with the plot of one episode from season 5, but the learners will lead the discussion topic during class time. One of the reasons I like to watch the show is that I think that the lessons learned by the characters can be correlated to real-world lessons that we can learn from, mostly on how to be kind and good to others. I encourage the students to talk with each other throughout the class. I monitor the class to encourage students to learn how to wait to have a turn and to respond in a respectful way when disagreeing with other students. ***This is a social class; therefore two or more students are required to hold class. September: Evolution October: Multiplication Destruction November: Jubilation December: Determination
