Chasing Rainbows is a beginner ballet class for ages 3-7. Each week will focus on different ballet steps, but the weeks do not build on each other, so dancers are encouraged to join at any time. Every six weeks, we will cycle through the themes, but dancers will continue to improve their skills every time we work on the technique. Below are examples of class structure and class themes each...

Students will learn many elements of ballet including, ballet positions, port-de-bra, tendu, arabesque, plies and sautes, and chasse.

No homework is required

I will give students positive and encouraging feedback throughout each live lesson.

30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.

An open area within enough space to move is required. Dancers should be barefoot (or in athletic shoes if needed) to prevent slips or falls. Parental supervision is needed to avoid injuries, but parents should stay off-camera to follow the privacy and safety guidelines of Outschool. Students may enjoy having a water bottle nearby.
