Class Experience

Perfect for the beginner painter! Teacher will paint along and show every step! 
By the end of the class, you should have your own magical masterpiece! 
Step By Step Directions
    Draw a caticorn shapes on the canvas (in pencil) 
    Paint the background with acrylic paint.
    Paint the face and ears with white acrylic paint
    Paint the nose and inside of the ears pink.
    Use various colors to paint caticorn's horn and hair. Colors of the rainbow are: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue (light blue), Indigo (darker blue), Violet (purple), but you are free to use any colors you like.
    Use small flat brush and black acrylic paint to paint the eyes, mouth, whiskers, hair and space around the nose.
    Mix some black and white paint to make gray for hair around the face and in the ears. Use small brush for gray.
   Put a few white accents on the hair and the horn.

-Pencil
-Eraser
-Cup for water
-8x10, 11 x14, 16 x 20 OR 20 x 40 canvas, canvas board or mixed media paper 
-Acrylic paints: white, black, red. (This is a minimum, but more colors are better. Colors of the rainbow are: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue (light blue), Indigo (darker blue), Violet (bluish-purple), but you are free to use any colors you like.)
-A palette - any dish we could use for mixing colors (I often use a paper plate or a plastic lid) Keep in mind, acrylics could be permanent, so no fine dishes. ;)
-Paper towel or a piece of cloth for cleaning brushes
-Various brushes: Large flat brush, medium flat brush and small detail brush
