Students will independently read and read with the larger group to practice oral reading. Students will discuss main events, character development and will make predictions as a group. Each week we will set a reading goal and students will read part of the book independently. Reading comprehension questions will be given to students after each meeting.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the elements of a story, how to answer questions about a novel and will read and discuss the novel with others
