Description
Class Experience
We will be reading 3-4 chapters each week. Students will be discussing vocabulary, characters, setting, plot, and making inferences as to what will happen the next week. At the beginning of each sessions students will be given a thinking questions to think about during our reading. Depending on the size and ability of the group we will either be reading the book as a group or break into partners/smaller groups. 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We may use the external link Kami when working on projects or comprehension questions. This app just allows students to work on worksheets or in story maps and then I can see their work. It is a way for me to help monitor progress. We will also use Nearpod, and flipgrid to interact with oneanother.
